Maria Campbell
mariacampbell@quinnemanuel.comMaria Campbell is Of Counsel in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. She joined the firm in 2018. Her practice focuses on all aspects of UK and EU competition and regulatory law with a particular focus on litigation and investigations. Maria has represented clients before the European Commission, Competition and Markets Authority, Court of Justice of the EU, and the English High Court and Court of Appeal.
Maria works across all sectors but most of her experience has been in the life sciences, technology, transport and financial services sectors. Maria has particular experience advising companies on issues at the interface between competition law and intellectual property rights.

- Acting for a major European truck manufacturer in relation to various follow-on damages claims arising out of its involvement in a Europe-wide cartel relating to the fixing of prices for trucks.
- Acting for Bloomberg in relation to its dispute with UBS in relation to UBS’ unauthorized use of Bloomberg data.
- Acting for Stellantis N.V. (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) in a follow-on damages claim against five of its component suppliers arising out of their involvement in a Europe-wide cartel.
- Acted for a major European pharmaceutical company before the European Commission and the English High concerning patent settlement agreements in the pharmaceutical sector.
